Doctor Biography

Dr. Mahfuja Khanam Luna is currently working as a Consultant cum Director in Bangladesh Eye Hospital Khulna Ltd. She also serves at GAZI Medical College & Hospital, Khulna as the Associate Professor and Head of the Dept of Ophthalmology.

She graduated from Mymensingh Medical College in 2009 and subsequently completed her 4 years post graduation training from National Institute of Ophthalmology & Hospital, Dhaka. She completed her Post graduation fellowship in Ophthalmology (FCPS) from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2018.

She started her Ophthalmology career as a Registrar in CARE Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka in 2018. She was promoted as Assistant Professor in the same institution in the year 2019. Then she shifted to Gazi Medical College & Hospital, Khulna as Asst prof in 2020. Lastly she promoted as Associate professor 2023 and still working in the same institution as the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology. She attended in different national and international conferences.
